Providing supported employment and training opportunities for people with a disability
Glen Industries is an Australian Public Company Limited by Guarantee, located within the township of Glen Innes in the New England regional area of the Northern Tablelands of NSW.
The organisation commenced operations in 1967 as a "Crippled Children's Association". In 1982 the organisation was incorporated to form the Glen Innes Regional Sheltered Workshop. From 1990, the organisation operated as a vocational service provider resulting in an expansion of its business enterprises. As a result of the transformation, the organisation developed a strong business focus, whilst maintaining its core commitment to its employees with a disability. In 2005, the Glen Innes Regional Sheltered Workshop changed its name to Glen Industries.
Today, Glen Industries is a Not-For-Profit Australian Disability Enterprise, providing employment and training for people with a disability.
